It is a high-performance tungsten wire rope product, and its storage and transportation requirements are primarily focused on moisture protection, shock protection, and corrosion protection, strictly adhering to the general specifications for metal wire rope products. 1. Packaging Requirements
Tungsten wire rope is usually wound on a plastic reel, covered with moisture-proof paper and bubble wrap for protection, and packed in a cardboard box or wooden crate. The box should include a certificate of conformity, inspection report, and instruction manual. Packaging must ensure moisture protection, dust protection, and protection against mechanical damage, keeping the product surface clean and free from oxidation and scratches. For tungsten wire tendon rope used in robots, special attention should be paid to preventing moisture absorption and oxidation to maintain its high strength, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability.
2. Transportation Requirements
During transportation, severe vibrations must be avoided to prevent rope deformation, loosening, or single-wire breakage. Strict protection against moisture and corrosion is essential; the rope must not be exposed to rain, humid environments, or corrosive gases. The temperature should generally be controlled below 40℃. The exterior of the container should be clearly marked with warning labels such as "Keep from Moisture," "Do Not Throw," and "Handle with Care." For surface-treated or composite-structured tendon ropes, extra care must be taken to protect the coating to prevent mechanical damage that could affect precision transmission performance.
3. Storage Requirements
The product should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse with a relative humidity ≤60%, away from acids, alkalis, and other corrosive chemicals, and protected from high temperatures and extreme temperature changes. Avoid heavy pressure and tangling during stacking; maintain the original packaging intact. For high-end robot tungsten wire tendon ropes, it is recommended to follow the manufacturer's specific instructions, and if necessary, store them in a dust-free or clean environment to ensure fatigue life and long-term stability.
